Hey all - my girlfriend is a citizen of another country, and i'm going to propose to keep her here with me. question: if the engagement is very short (practically non-existent) should one buy a diamond engagement ring? thanks! jaa

Proposing with a ring is traditional and probably would be much appreciated. It will also look nice with the wedding band. Maybe if you ask youself these questions you can figure out the answer. 1. Is this marrage for technicallity or love? 2. Do her or her family's marrage values include an engament ring? 3. What would an engagement ring mean to her? Hope this helps |
