MY ENGAGMENT RING IS A STANDARD TIFFANY SETTING V PRONG. -MY E-RING SAT DOWN TOO LOW LEAVING A GAP BTWN ANY WEDDING BAND I WOULD CHOOSE. SO MY FIANCE AND I CHOOSE A NEW E-RING SETTING. ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TO WHERE I CAN GET AN APPRAISEL IN LOS ANGELES,CA? DO THE DIAMONDS HAVE TO BE TAKEN OUT WHEN THE RING IS BEING APPRAISED? SHOULD I GO RIGHT AHEAD AND PURCHASE MY INSURANCE BEFORE MY E-RING GETS RESET? OR DO I NEED TO GET A NEW APPRAISEL? HELP
