I called and asked GIA in Carlsbad, CA to provide crown/pav info for stone i submitted to them for laser inscription. They said they don't discuss info that is not listed on the GIA report, so I am confused because I heard fr. several sources that GIA provides this info upon request fr. owner of stone.

Only the owner of the stone at the time the stone was submitted will be able to get this info. I have also heard that California is less agreeable than NYC. So ask the stone owner to do the chasing, or get the stone Sarin reported for you. Garry Holloway FGAA DipDT |
