Hello,

Although I'm not engaged yet, I am thinking about planning a wedding on a budget to make things easier for us. Wedding would need to be in Sept or October. I'm trying to get the total expenses down to $12,000, preferrely down to less than $10,000. Expected number of guests would probably be around 100.

What are good locations to have a wedding ceremony/reception that is friendly to the wallet. I orginally started off in hotels, but the minimum prices are nuts.

Any help that anyone could provide would surely be appreciated

Well, here are a few that I found:

Antique Wedding House:

I would also try lining up a public garden....like this: Desert Botanical Gardens
1201 North Galvin Parkway, Phoenix, Arizona 85008
(480) 941-1225

or: Glendale Public Library Xeriscape Garden
5959 W. Brown St., Glendale, Arizona 85302
(623) 930-3596

There are a ton of places depending on what you are looking for. Try Boojum Tree or The Satisfied Frog. There is a magizine called Arizona Weddings (or something like that) that is very detailed with lots of info about locations and prices.
