I posted this on Rocky Talk but thought this might be a better place for it. My wedding and engagement rings were stolen and I was heartbroken for months. I am now on a quest for a new ring. I originally was looking for a 1.7-1.8 RB. But now, given how expensive they are, am debating between a 1.31 jubilee or a 1.54 ACA RB. What do you prefer? My previous stone was a 1.7 ct princess with 2 side trillions. It was beautiful but I was bothered by the fact that it had to be really clean to sparkle. I do love squarish stones but am nervous that the 1.3 jub will seem, well, too small, esp as I had originally hoped to upgrade to a bigger stone. And the RBs are so very sparkly........! What do you think between the two? Thank you! moroccan maryam |

I haven't had the opportunity yet to see a jube in person -- but I am getting the feeling that they can DEFINITELY "hold their own" against the "sparkle" of a RB! I think since you are seriously shopping, you might want to consider looking at a jubilee in person. I bet you will LOVE it! ![]() ![]() ![]() Lynn PS SO sorry to hear about the theft of your other rings! How awful!!! The thief should be tarred and feathered for that!!!!
And THAT'S my story and I'm sticking to it! |

Thank you for your post! I would love to see the jube in person but am living in Morocco.......and so will need to coordinate from afar - makes life tricky as you can imagine. The thing that is most upsetting to me about my ring being stolen is the thought of someone walking around and wearing it! moroccan maryam |

i'm so sorry to hear about you're ring! it would make me fume to think about someone walking around wearing MY ring.![]() RBs are my steadfast and enduring love while jubilees are my new and exciting love so and from what i've seen, jubilees can definitley hold their own sparkle-wise and don't do all that badly spread dept...so if you're a squareish kinda gal, jubilees may be the way to go. either way, you'll definitley come out with something fabolous!
