tell me what you think. - i just got a beautiful princess cut daimond from my honey. gia price $25300.00 measurments 7.66x7.63x5.42mm 2.51 carat depth 71% table 69% girgle thin-medium culet none polish/symmetry v/good vvs2 f color flourescence none we have one month to return the ring. so tell me what you think. the diamond is beautiful but the shine wasnt what i expect it to be. when i made my purchase i got a gia cert, and a igi appraisel. i dont have a sarin report. - but then again i'm comparing this princess to a shine of the round diamond. |

it sounds fabulous, you can't go wrong with a gia cert. F color...I can't wait to see it!!But you have to love it. You are the one who will be wearing it everyday. So make sure it is exactly what you want~

the depth/table sound really good...many princesses are way deep. DO you have crown info? Post pics!

No--GIA doesn't give you that....I am drawing a blank--obviously there is a way to get it... Paging MMM.....

You give me too much credit! But sadly, there is no way to get it absent a sarin report or an EGL cert. It sounds like it's lovely and the size sounds right for a 2.5 (so it's not too flat and top heavy) Hmmm. When you say "shine"...do you mean it doesn't give off rainbows and have big flashed of light? If so...then get a round! I was a die hard princess lover....and there actually are a few out there that I really like. But they just didn't have that flash I like. I noticed that at GOG when the woman who was showing me a VERY well cut princess was wearing a round that put it to shame! P.S. Yes Reena! I certainly have. But I dunno, I'm just a square girl even if it means sacrificing fire and brilliance to a degree. Unless, J-Lo over here wants to give me her 3 ct round I think it's so stupid that GIA doesn't have crown info. I don't know why they don't.
