what are the negatives of a small black inclusion, just under the table...

according to WF, you can barely see it under 10X, but not with naked eye.

let me know your thoughts.

thanks.

a pic would be extremely helpful in a case like this....

what is the clarity grade of the stone.... a small black inclusion in an SI2 could be quite large compared to a small black inclusion in a VVS1.....

also... if I'm right on this, there are very few truly black inclusions.... if held up to enough light, it is likely that the inclusion is either a dark red or dark green....

I see several pinpoints, nothing to really worry about though (remember that pic is at 10x (at least....)) - if you can't see them, I wouldn't worry about them at all.

If Brian from WF pulled the stone and examined it while you were on the phone, I'd trust his recommendation on "eye clean" status.

You can send it to a local independent appriaser where you can look at it in person and get a qualified second opinion before buying.  I took this route with WF and was happy with the process.

You probably have a very nice stone - more affordable because of the clarity rating but is eye clean and beautiful
