Pls help!!! i am trying to determine if my new ring is truly a good cut without having the important proportions to go on....I am utterly and totally confused and have made it worse with the obsessive research! It has a lot of sparkle, hopefully i am using the right wording here for sparkle... i mean that i can see a lot of colors and it appears to "twinkle" for lack of a better word.... but here is where i get confused, how is brilliance different???...is sparkle the same as "fire"? i am concerned on the brilliance factor. Also i feel i can see into the stone (don't know if i am nuts or what!!!) but i feel i can see into it and i thought if it the facets were cut right then you can see in at all? here is some info .... 1.22 Round 61 depth, 59 table. girdle medium to slightly thick, culet none. polish and symetry verg good... SI1 but eye clean. H color. no fluorescence. One thing makes me nervous - extra facet should i be concerned?  It's in the pavilion. thanks so much

thanks i purchased the idealscope and am just waiting for it to come - hopefully before my two weeks runs out! I got the email confirming my order from Australia, hopefully the company's headquarters and not where it is mailed from  (think it is mailed from PA, at least i hope so!)i just hope i can figure out how to use the thing!! I wish i had discovered this wonderful site earlier ! thanks!

Yes it will come from PA It is pretty simple to use, even some jewellers have mastered it

extra facets are rarely an issue.
