I will be there and promised to tell PS about the what's and where's. The leak is that it will be on cert mid 2005. The big controversy is how fast can you send back GIA certs to update. The backlog for GIA is too long now, no one will want to wait 6 weeks just to update. It may bring the price down a bit on old GIA certs which would help consumers. So if GIA already certed a stone, do they have the Sarin's and such necessary to rate the cut? thanks Scott

Garry H (Cut Nut) Ideal Rock Total Posts: 11,577 Last Post: 11/22/2009 Member Since: 8/16/2000	They will have a period (maybe even from now) where the stones they are grading can have a new cut grade report without re-submitting the diamond. It will only be rounds however, and very few stones should be sent back because there is no point getting a cut cert on a diamond with a lousy cut (most rounds that go to GIA have less than stella cut performance).
