Hi guys, So, it's now time to get some wedding bands... I bought my fiancee's engagement ring at gog in December, and she absolutely loves it! Now that we're looking for some wedding bands, she has a certain thing in mind: some sort of band with alternating blue and white diamond. Kind of like those sapphire/diamond bands. The reason for not going with sapphire instead of blue diamonds is that she really loves the color and sparkle of blue diamonds. Now, we'd never be able to afford real blue diamonds, so color treated diamonds are fine. We've looked around, but havn't really seen anything. Only one plac had a band with blue diamonds (color treated), but the color was kind of greenish (yuck). Any ideas of where to look for this sort of thing? We live in Calgary, Alberta, but aren't afraid to look online either. Thanks! |

treated color blue diamonds typically have a somewhat greenish cast. i've never seen one that really looked like a natural blue. synthetic blues can look more natural. you might look into those--i've seen some fairly nice ones. they aren't cheap (not like cz, etc.) but are far less than equivalent color natural blue diamonds.
