I see this is a little late, but I have been to David S on 47th in nyc. They were very professional, low pressure and have a brilliance scope. They will give you copies of the brilliance scope on the spot, as well as copies of the cert of any stone. I think they are competitive. Not dirt cheap, but competitive and trustworthy.

David S has great quality stones. They are all GIA certified, as they show you the certificate with each stone. Their prices are good and honest.
