Shp Crt Col Cla Lab Dpt Tab Meas Grdl Cul Sym Pol Flr Price$ Round 1.34 D SI2 GIA 59.9 57 7.22-7.26X4.34 tn-md f no ex ex no $7838 Round 1.33 D SI2 AGS 61.5 55 7.12-7.17x4.39 IDEAL- no no $6835 Round 1.30 E SI2 GIA 60.9 56 7.07-7.05x4.30 md no ex ex no $7079 I have $8k (could go up a little) would like to just spend $8k- $8500 for entire wedding set and diamond. Should I go up in size? I have a size 7 finger. I wish i could get around an 8mm.... looks best on my finger. unless i get a fancy setting w/ diamonds to embellish the 1.30 diamond... I do want D because it's the whitest white around and that's my priority, next to cut. Help! All I know is I want the diamond to sparkle like crazy and look bigger than it really is (go for the bigger measurements? #1?) |

There's also this one: 1.37 E SI2 H&A for $7765 It's no bigger in diameter though. #1 could be good. Ask if they get give you more information on the cut, and mention that you saw it on PriceScope for a discount. Is #2 an AGS0? Why is it so much less than #1 (i.e. What's the catch?). If the stone is truly ideal, that's probably the best bet for your money. Or did you mean to type $7835?

You might want to spend a little time with the tutorial here on the site -it will help answer many of the questions you have. These could all be fine stones, but it's hard to tell without additional info (crown and pavilion angles, for starters). Shopping for size only might get you a stone that's too "spready" - very shallow, and though it will look big, it won't be the sparkliest you can find.
