Have you taken a look at www.faycullen.com or www.antiqueengagementrings.com? I think both a have a great selection and although i havent personally delt with either, both sites seems to get positive feedback on here. I have my eye on a setting from antiqueengagementrings

Okay, here is one person who purchased an antique setting from DCD, placing an asscher into the setting. Looks gorgeous! Jaxie has great taste and also has a ring by mark morrell and has seen THE BEST, so I think if she loves this ring, this company is worth trusting! DCD antique ring Michelle

http://foreverjewelers.com/store/ProductDetails.asp?ProductID=FJR7582ABset http://foreverjewelers.com/store/ProductDetails.asp?ProductID=FJR770AB01set http://foreverjewelers.com/store/ProductDetails.asp?ProductID=FJR9549AB01set http://foreverjewelers.com/store/ProductDetails.asp?ProductID=GSR0239set ok these are styles I really like and the style I know my Girlfriend would absolutely love. My concern is just the craftsman ship of them and if any one has bought from foreverjewelers.

i'm sure it is Reena. I hope a princess will fit in there! Here is a couple more pics they sent me.. http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/auction/Aug/20048205266616029514685.jpg http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/auction/Aug/20048203940623956207911.jpg http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/auction/Aug/20048205828142707410496.jpg I think i will get it set in platinum though instead of white gold. Do you think that a .80ct princess would look good in either one of these?? http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/auction/Aug/20048208120987602242309.jpg

oh, what i meant was, is YOUR stone a RB. but, it's a princess? not sure about the compatibility of princess stones with settings made for RBs (if those even are RB only, maybe they're not) but the vendor should be able to tell you that. i still like the one i picked out the first time around at least in the abstract, but the other one (with the squarer accent stones)COULD be more compatible with a princess. did your GF pick those settings out in particular?

No, but she saw them and said she really liked these two settings. I really like the precisioin set flush fit but i dunno if they can fit a princess cut in the one i want. i will email foreverjewelers monday and ask if a princess cut can be placed in the settings, if not i will go to a local jeweler and check out the flush fit i really liked, plus they have it at a pretty reasonable price.
