Ive been reading all of your questions and comments for the past couple weeks and i thank you!!! After a couple weeks of searching and changing my mind a million times (annoying myself) i think ive found what i want! I was trying to keep it right at or below $3,000, but feel this combo is great... what do you guys think??? The Diamond: Report: GIA Shape: Round Ideal Cut Carat: 0.80 Color: J Clarity: VS1 Depth: 60.6 Table: 56 Crown Angle: 34.7 Crown %: 15.4 Pavilion Angle: 40.9 Pavilion %: 43.2 Girdle: THN TO MED Polish: Excellent Symmetry: Ideal Culet: None Fluorescence: No Measurements: 6.04-6.06X3.67 Price: $2,360.00 and the setting is from www.antiqueengagementrings.com. Platinum with a simple wheat pattern and 2 bead set diamonds on each side. I've tried to attach a pic, but im not sure it is going to work. Thanks for your input!!!

Sounds like you've found a real winner.... I'd check the stone to ensure it's eye-clean (it should be) & see the stone in person (or get a picture of it) both with the table up & from side on. As long as you don't mind a slightly 'warm colored' stone... this one sounds quite good (and scores a 1.5 on the HCA - X, VG, VG, VG)... ON the "is this a good deal" front... it's a solid AGS0, there are no J/VS1s in the price stats right now, but.... for a 1A cut you'd be looking at an avg price of $2140, and 2A $1952 - if it is a H&A you could assume a similar jump above the 1A price so in the ~$2328... and that's for a diamond that may not even exist on another site (and just comparing prices between the online vendors)...  I say you've done pretty well on this one & if you like it, don't search for a reason to dislike it (and lose the opportunity to have a stone 'in hand' that you like)
