Hi to all,

I have received a working proposal of marketing loose diamond in the uk. to all the british users can you give me a brief overview on the uk market of diamonds.

the company who wants me to work for is a big one and can provide me with unlimited amount of diamonds. so in order for me to decide I want to underst5and better the potential in this market

Be very very careful.

Something doesn't sound right here. Why would someone who can supply you with an unlimited amount of diamonds choose as their UK representative an agent who isn't familiar with the market? If this proposal involves you paying them rather than the other way around, you could be getting set up for a serious problem. I, too, would like to hear about the UK market from one of the experts here but in the meantime, don't write these folks a check.

Good advice has been given above. DO NOT pay a penny on such a crazy offer. Why would YOU be selected to sell diamonds when they are not an expert in the market. Diamond dealers know one thing very well....how to market their product. No one would offer such a deal who means no harm. Of course, if there is a lot more to the story, maybe we are missing some important facts. If not, there is no doubt that danger is looking you right in the eyes.

If you look up posts by poster Furthermore he is or was a diamond dealer in the UK and has written some informational posts.

Oldminer here is very experienced so I would take what he says as very important.
