Can anyone tell me what would make a beautiful trillion? I printed a diamond with these stats. What do you think?

.69 Carat, Color F, Clarity VS1, Depth 56.7%, Tbl 58%, Gdl stk-vtk, Cul no, Pol gd, Fir no, Measurements 5.68x6.21x3.52.

Are those good measurements for a trillion? What about the depth and table and girdle?

Tillions are cut two basic ways. Shallow and deep. It depends on the rough and both can look very good. You selection sounds rather in between and I don't think anyone can predict if it will look great without seeing it.

Also, the sides of trillions are sometimes rather straight and other times sort of curved. It is a matter of personal taste which you'd prefer.

There are many possible combinations that work nicely. Be aware, that thin ones do tend to look less brilliant, especially when they get a little dirty or soapy on their backs when being worn.

Hi Steven,

It's matt. I see you found the forum. I did a search on trillion cuts on this forum and found this link:

http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=12660&forumID=3&catID=&search=1&searchstring=&sessionID={69922B25-81F8-4E54-978B-85C9436B32DC}

It will give you some more info about this cut.

From what I've seen there doesn't seem to be as many guidlines for what a good cut is in a trillion as there are with rounds, princesses, ovals, emeralds, marquise, etc.

Keep up the research. Hopefully everyone here gives you some helpful input.
