Hello all, I've been following these message boards for several months as I've searched for a diamond. Since I feel like this is the only place where I can get an objective opinion, what do you all think of the stone I've ended up buying? ROUND BRILLIANT CUT 2.02 ct. $14,529 VS2 I GIA cert 8.12 X 8.17 X 4.95mm depth 60.8% table 56% crown 35.3% pavilion 40.4% girdle very thin to slightly thick polish vg symmetry vg no flourecense or culet Thanks for the feedback! |

I don't like to see any diamond with a very thin girdle.

I agree with Zoobiedo to some extent, but additionally, I don't like seeing big variations in girdle thickness like very thin-slightly thick... Other than that, I love the #s on this stone! quaeritur |

It sounds like a beautiful diamond (and BIG)! Do you have any pictures we could see?

Yep, that looks like a lovely stone! Is it very fiery? What kind of setting is it going in? Do you have more info on the girdle? it might only be very thin in one spot, just something to be aware of in terms of protecting the girdle. Other than that, looks like you scored an awesome diamond!
