I have a 2CT C-5 clarity I1 diamond and I noticed a surface scratch on the table and a tiny chip that runs perpendicular into a facet that connects to the table ( right in the middle of the facet ). Being an I1 I am scared that if I leave it like that it might get worse over time, but also, I am not sure that anyone would touch this stone for repolishing with a 10 foot pole. It's such a pretty ring that I do want to wear it often, the color of the champagne stone is sooooo gorgeous! Please post you advice... If any benchman/dealer/cutters would like to offer their service to do the job, please let me know... How much money are we talking about to do something like that? THank you! ..: Amethyste :.. ...: Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls :... |
