So, my fiancee and I are looking for our wedding bands. She's found the one she wants, but can't find out anyone who sells anything like it. You'll see in the attached file what the setting looks like. It doesn't have to be exactly as displayed. It need only be small (< .1 karats) diamonds that are embedded in the ring and we only really need between 3-5 of those set inside the band itself.

I'd like to spend less than $800 for something like this, if possible.

Anyone have any clue where I can find this on-line or even in a B&M?

Thanks,

MrRocks

Let's try this again:

I know I've seen some of these online, but haven't taken particular note of them, sorry. (I really like the tension-set ones with a few small diamonds set in them, which look somewhat like that)

I did find somewhere that had some, though I'm not sure for how much:

Just for my own education, how would you describe a ring like this? A women's wedding band with "large pave" set diamonds angled 45 degrees? It's certainly not a channel set so I can't use that terminology, either.

Your assistance is appreciated!

I would describe this ring as having 3-5 small princess cut diamond that are burnish-set on point.

Sorry, I don't know where you'd find a band like that online. Best of luck.

I didn't put in any of the channel-set kinds, but here are a few that look something like what you posted... I tried to give you a variety, and put in only ones with more than one diamond, except those tension styles above:

three-toned: http://www.mondera.com/jewelry/product.asp?partno=3005237&sourceid=Froogle
baguettes and rounds: http://www.mondera.com/jewelry/product.asp?partno=3005235&sourceid=Froogle
seven offset rounds: http://www.szul.com/product_details.asp?ProdId=WBC1314-PL
curvy: http://www.szul.com/product_details.asp?ProdId=RGF1088-PL
bezels: http://www.szul.com/product_details.asp?ProdId=RGF3395
not actually tension: http://www.ice.com/customer/product_detail.jsp?product=91421722&sourceID=googla_42
looks kinda like the etoile bands: http://www.finejewelers.com/item.aspx?n=CF515125&r=frgl
diagonal: http://www.billbarnes.com/product.asp?engine=froogle&product=7038

Me, I'd go for those Xen tension set rings -- or for less money, get Boone Rings to make you one, I've heard great things about him. My favorite would be something like this, maybe: http://www.boonerings.com/htmpages/accentwithsatintension.htm

There are more out there, of course, I just need to do some work now. Let me know if these don't suit.

Hi,

Any custom shop could make that ring up.

The ring style is called a flat or pipe cut (interchangable terms) with a comfort fit.

The setting style is called flush or burnished set (interchangable terms)

I don't know what type of metal you are looking for, but I have seen incredibly similar rings made in titanium at Gillett's Jewelers. I'm sure if you email them your pics, they can give you a quote for making the same exact ring.

You can also e-mail Whiteflash and get a price quote. They can custom make that ring for you.

Try JeffCooperDesigns.com, he designs rings and bands where the diamonds are embedded in the band like that:

I really want to thank all of you for giving me these excellent suggestions. I looked at every suggestion, and ended up getting this band custom made for a reasonable price at WhiteFlash.

Now, she won't take the band off even though our wedding is two months away!

She won't take it off? Well, then....you'll just have to buy her a right hand ring for the big day

But, seriously....the band turned out great. It really compliments the e-ring. Congrats to you both

Send me a picture,
I can do that, and I think 800.00 sounds like a generous budget for that.
