I always want to support people and hate to disappoint anybody...

Did you do a search on Pricescope? You can find similar or better stones for about $1500 less:

I also notice the huge price difference between retailers and this site.
Sometimes its about $2000 difference pre-tax. How is this possible ?

A lot of the internet vendors have less overhead and they can pass that along to you. Also, a lot of local stores are just plain over priced...

And I gotta give it to you straight. That princess cut is going to bark. No good. So not only is it overpriced, but it is not a well cut stone imo.
