msbennie Cut Rock Total Posts: 218 Last Post: 9/6/2005 Member Since: 7/11/2004	Does anyone know of sites that have a wide variety of mountings for "J"? I really like the ones at Whiteflash but was told by the salesperson that in order to get the mounting I want, I have to ship my diamond to them. I don't really want to do that...would prefer to buy one from the net and have a local jeweler mount it for me. Thanks in advance for your help! P.S. I'm looking for a platinum solitaire that has a "U" mount with double prongs...just like the one below..which is from Whiteflash:

The Vendors have security measures in place to protect both you and themselves. Most have you ship the diamond via USPS Registered Insured Mail which is slow but works. If you purchase a Vatche setting Vatche will require to mount the diamond or you void their warranty. In that case, the diamond would be shipped anyway. Just some thoughts for you. Why use a big word when a diminutive word would be succinct! ____________________________________________________________ Just a regular person trying to be helpful. Consult a Pro prior to purchase!

It's a new setting that's not listed on the Vatche website. GOG just ordered the setting for me for the diamond I just purchased from them.

No, they do not sell Vatche settings...their mountings are very limited....I looked for the setting on the web after I saw yours but couldn't locate it. I began looking at Solomon Brother's website and they have several mountings very similar to yours...I've contacted them about several...

ep6585 Ideal Rock Total Posts: 609 Last Post: 12/28/2008 Member Since: 5/10/2004	Any Vatche dealer would be able to get it. They'd just have to ask about it. I've heard it refered to as a "double x-prong" or a "double prong x-prong". Solomon Bros. sells Vatche settings.
