hello! just wanted to get some opinions about what it is I am looking at! I have a diamond that, when viewed under a loupe, appears to have one or two small needle inclusions on each side in the pavillion on a facet edge. Is this a common location for this type of inclusion, or am I possibly looking at nicks from wear and tear? It seems like an unusual place to nick the diamond, as it is mounted. Also, the ring is less than a year old and I am pretty careful with it. Any advice would be helpful! thanks!!

You will need to either post a clear magnified photo or send some expert the diamond for an examination. The description of "needles" is not going to bring much response. It is just not a clear enough description of the situation. We can help you, but not without seeing the details.... Please hold the diamond closer to the computer...
