Thank you all for your previous help. I think that I am moving closer to a better diamond but I wanted your input. This diamond is not nearly as square as some of the others with a 1.09 ratio. Does that really matter if I don't mind having a more rectangle diamond?

1.6 ctw princess cut

Depth: 71.9%
Table: 68%
Girdle: Slighttly Thick
Culet: None
Polish/Sym: Very Good/Very Good
Fluor: None
$6,980

DELICIOUS!!!! I think it looks great!!! I have to tell you that I very much like a rectangular princess...it draws the eye up and makes the stone look bigger...there is an example on GOG with the rectangular next to the square....Hope it turns out to be a winner in person...you are SO on the right track!

If you don't mind a more rectangular stone, this one has SERIOUS potential! Is it 100% eye clean (from all angles)? Try to get a Sarin report and Ideal Scope on this baby!!!

I have requested that the vendor provide me with photos of the diamond along with the Sarin report and Ideal Scope. In addition, I requested the crown height of the diamond. I'm hoping this will be "the one" because I'm getting tired of looking!! And I think my boyfriend is ready for me to make my decision

Aaah, it looks really nice!  If the Sarin confirms a 9-10% or higher crown and the SI inclusions are not too noticeable, then this one may be a great choice!

GIA stops calling diamonds "square" at 1.05 L/W... I find this a tad strict though.

Have you tried the "Fancy Shape Selector" at Gemappraisers ? The model makes a good tool to guess what exectly those slight rectangular proportions look like

Valeria, thank you for that information. I do like the shape of the dimaond with the length a little longer.

I'm really hoping that everything else turns out OK with this diamond, I am so ready to have it on my finger!!

For the price, did you all find it to be a good deal? It seemed to be to me but I'm not very knowledgable.

It's looking even better. Got the Sarin Report and the Crown Height is 11%. Still waiting for the Ideal Scope and actual picture. I'm getting excited.
