Hi everybody, UPDATED: I figured out a few things after contacting this jeweler. Turns out that they custom manufacture rings in Austrailia. The price for a platinum "Paris" setting would be approx. $800, which was a bit more than I was wanting to pay. The particular page is here. I wouldn't mind paying that much if they were more 'local', but being halfway around the world and having a three week lead time makes me a bit nervous. I would hope somebody stateside would make something similar to this. I found this post that details a Japanese manufacturer that makes a SIMILAR ring but Mel doesn't like that setting as much. It's an option, but I'm not sure how good of one. Same problems as with Gillett's. If anyone knows of similar settings or has any feedback on Gillett's, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE email or PM me. I've found some for you in approximately that style (it's a pain to search for!) but are you looking for white gold or platinum? I don't want to go posting a bunch of stuff you're not interested in, and this will help me narrow it down. (I also found you some with diamonds on the band, but I assume you're not interested in those)

UPDATE 7/12: I went to a local jeweler today, the one who has been helping me with sizing, etc. FYI, it's Albins Jewelers, owned by Wayne Albin. http://www.albinsjewelers.com After showing him the pictures, he said he could duplicate the ring, with a few minor changes, for $225 (in white gold)!!! That is going to save me close to $500, and it will be a completely custom ring (we fixed one or two small things that I didn't like). I am not affiliated with Albins in any way, but they have been upfront and very professional the entire time, and have made the process of finding the mounting very simple. Now all I need to do is find a diamond! (0.60-0.70, VS2, G, AGS Ideal)
