I'm hoping one of you experienced shoppers can point me to a retailer who might have a decent eternity band style engagement setting. I need platinum with between .80 to 1.5 carat total weight. If I cannot find a true eternity band then a shared prong one that goes over half way around the finger (cannot see band from above) would work.

Please help - frustrated in TX.

Mark

Call Whiteflash (www.whiteflash.com) right there in Houston.

Their craftsmanship and diamonds are top-rate, and they do make the shared-prong eternity band.  If they don't already make a version of that band as an engagement ring, they will modify it for you and make it custom (for tons less than going to a local jeweler).

Lastly, the melee will be ideal cut as well.

If you have a budget, www.SignedPieces.com has some seriously good eternity rings.  Even if you don't find one, they can always custom-make one for you.

Unlike WhiteFlash, their stones are NOT cut ideally, at least not cut H&A but they still are excellently cut, and sparkle quite a bit.  Honestly, in the size of stones you are looking for, they could present a good financial bargain, if you don't require H&A stones...

Thanks for the recommendations - I am having some success with Whiteflash, but the other site could not customize the ring I wanted.
