I was given these measurements for a princess cut stone: 7.42 x 6.57 x 4.61 I am not sure what they mean, if they are good or not? Also, where can I learn more detail about girdle thickness etc. Thanks!

It means the stone could look slightly rectangular - and will be listed on the cert as a "rectangular modified brilliant". Who gave you those measurements? They should also be able to give you the table, depth, girdle thickness, flourescence, etc. If the stone has an EGL cert, you should also get the crown height. _______________________________________ |
