I am looking at buying at Tiffany & Co. Solitare engagement ring. Here are the stats. Depth - 61.5% Table - 57 % Girdle - Thin - Sl. Thick Coulet - Small Polish - Good Symetry - Very Good VS1 F Dimentions - 4.05 - 4.11 x 2.51 .25 Carot. 6 prong setting - platnium I may be buying this sight unseen. Will this be a nice diamond and what should I expect to pay for this. Thanks Tim

Hi Tb5496, the stone itself can be $450-$600 depending on cut and whether it has grading report. Tiffany style platinum ring usually costs $300. You're looking for about $800. Can I ask why do you want F-VS1? You can get 0.35 carat, G-H color and SI1-2 clarity for the same budget. Diamond will still be white and eye clean. Pricescope |
