Hi. When you are browsing through the price stats database and specify a cut (a list is then generated for various clarity and color grades at carat ranges) and you then choose a clarity, color, and carat range from that list, a list of several diamonds that fall under your category are then listed. Can you trust that the cut you originally specified (say AGA 1A) is true of all the diamonds that the database selects for you? Or, is it just the vendor's estimate?

My program evaluate the AGA class based on table, depth and other available cut factors. It is not 100% certain because crown and pavilion angles are unknown for majority of diamonds. Please use the stats as indication only. Diamonds with more cut info available are listed at Pricescope |
