If I purchase a diamond online where should I get it appraised? Also, will a local jewler set the stone or will I have to purchase the setting online as well? Does anyone by chance know of any good appraisers in the Cincinnati, OH area? This site is great by the way... thanks for your help!

Have you checked the "appraisers" link above? Although it would be better to be present during the appraisal so that one can examine the stone along with the appraiser, you can send your rock to any of the PS appraisers for an expert opinion. For most insurance co's, it will still be a valid appraisal. squire "Our country is defined by the rights we protect, and those of us who fought for freedom and put our lives on the line defended the right of people to do things that we disagree with.
