I have been to PM a number of times, and I am actually getting my ring setting custom made there once I've chosen my stones. I have only good stuff to say about PM, and Garry knows that I found the service there to be impeccable and the staff very knowledgeable.

I said it's a "tad" pricier - and this is based on my research and my own experience. I had done a lot of research in local B&M's, and online merchants and found that the price difference is significant.

Personally, I agree wholeheartedly with you, being that PM is one of the best places to buy down under. Unfortunately, I have a budget to meet, and want to get the most bang for my buck - if money was no object, I will definitely buy from PM.

Hey! I resemble that remark!  

I know it's officially Saturday morning now but in Friday Tiffany spirit, I will say that just because I love some branded purses does not mean I spend my money foolishly amongst branded purses. There are some I wouldn't spend the money on and others I would...ones that I could classify as more practical or usable. I also wouldn't necessarily pay retail for a branded purse if I could find a better deal on an authentic item elsewhere. So there is some logic in my purse-loving madness (and diamond-loving!)...it may not necessarily be WORTH it if the purse is too expensive and/or not practical to use. You can see why I wouldn't spend $5k on a .35c stone for any amount of branding in the world! BUT maybe if the .35c stone was on eBay and was authentic for $1000...it'd be worth it? Hmmm.
