The link should lead to a silver-on-gold pendant with rose cut diamonds. The make of the piece looks unusually beautiful to me. How were these made? I could not help notice how the metal of the setting folows tightly the shape of the diamonds, and their shape serves the design. Surely this is not the first piece I know of made this way... Do you happen to know of some work describing the making of the metal work of such Georgian pieces?
