I was surfing the other day when I ran across a Japanese site with some great solitaire settings. And of course I didn't save the link...

What I do remember is that the name is Mikawa or something similar and they have a store in Kyoto. A google returns not much, so I know the name is wrong. Does anyone know of a high-end Jewelry store like this in Japan? I think the link that I followed to them said that they are the equivalent of Tiffany's over there.

Also, the Mikimoto 'twist' solitaire setting is fantastic:

But they don't sell the setting separate from the diamond, and I already have my diamond. Has anyone seen a similar setting here in the states?

Best,
Lee

Gelin & Abaci has a model like that - but tension, of course... both for rounds and princess cuts.
