Stone: 50 point, VS2, E Ideal Cut, Canadian Diamond (Not that Canadian Diamond matters, but I personally think it's cool being Canadian myself)

Assuming that the diamond "is" an ideal cut diamond with legitimate grading from a laboratory such as the GIA or AGS then the price isn't bad at all, especially for a brick and mortar environment. Don't know anything about Spence's etc, but it is unfortunate that whoever you talked to feels so insecure about his / her own abilities and the quality of their product that they feel it necessary to bash every other jewelry store in the area... Kind of makes you wonder who they're describing ![]() It is always adviseable to have a diamond and jewelry purchase evaluated by an independent gemologist to verify the quality of the item regardless of who you purchase it from. By "independent" we are referring to a gemologist who is not employed by, nor directly affiliated with a jewelry store so that they are more likely to be impartial in their evaluation of the item.
