My girlfriend wants to get a Jack Keleg setting and I can't find anywhere that sells them. Except one place, but they wanted $5900 for it. Can anyone help me find a dealer? Any advise would be helpfull....Thanks!

Some examples seem to be Tacori-like. Not sure a custom setting, with that much detail would run you any less really.

I’m in the process of buying the stone, but it’s going to be like 2.00 cts. So would you say I should go with a similar setting but not the Kelege. Does it make a difference? Thanks!!!

I can't imagine spending that dough on a setting...I just read another great thread about not skimping on a setting...which is great....but I prefer to put every penny towards the stone when dealing with a budget...you can always upgrade your setting....some don't want to upgrade the stone, though.

MrMagoo,

Try the number on his site if you're still interested. http://www.jackkelege.com/index2.htm

I almost bought one 3 years ago when I was into antique looks. Some of his pieces are exquisite.

Oh... those are nice! And some models are more "irreplaceable" than others.

Which one do you have in mind?

Jack Kelege is a platinum designer out of Los Angeles that tries to sell ultra high end.  They supposadly only use VS2 diamonds from Russia.  My experience is they are fairly rude as a firm.  You may want to try A. Jaffe for a company that has similar rings at about 1/3 the cost.

Joel,

Although your info was helpful, this thread is over a year old... it's unlikely the original poster is still looking.

PS  Don't worry - we've all done the same thing at least once!
