Hey all, I'm a total newbie at this so bare with me. What is a decent price to pay for the following diamond: Shape: Round Bril. Wt.: 1.07 ct. Class 1A-1B cut Clarity: SI2 Color: H Polish: Excelent Symmetry: Excelent Culet: closed Hearts and arrows look superb Not sure if this makes any difference in price but I am told it is hand carved. I appreciate the patience and help of anyone that answers this. Thanks! GTBoy

A really nice, eye-clean 1.07ct H&A H,SI 2 should cost about $4600. An AGS0, well cut stone (but not H&A) would be in the $3500-4000/range.

Is this the price I should offer to a merchant (non-online)? They seem to all range from roughly $6000 - $8000 for a diamond of this quality... Seems quite high, then again is this common for local resellers? Thanks again! GTBoy

It is definitely not more then $4000 if it is certified USA EGL/GIA and if it is not certified the price should not be more then $3500. Reason i am sure cause i sell these myself.
