I wanted to tell you all about my experience with DirtCheap Diamonds. I went out to Frederick this Friday and bought a beautiful stone from Jim Schultz. He was very helpful and took me through all the information about the diamond. We looked at it in many different light settings including outside, with the firescope, idealscope, did a sarin report. I was there for over an hour and a a half, and I never felt rushed. He even shipped in two diamonds (one of which I bought, on his own dime), all the while knowing I would only be buying one. I had it appraised on Monday and the value was 2300 dollars more than I paid. The Diamond was a 1.12 Carat Round Brilliant GIA Certified Ideal Cut. It was an F SI1 (with inclusions that are barely noticeable under 25X magnification) and it is beautiful. I am going to have it set in a pave setting next week.

Thanks again for all the help people gave me.
I just wanted to recommend DIrt Cheap Diamonds to anyone who is looking to buy on the internet. I can have the full measurements later today after lunch if anyone wants to see them. I will also try to take a picture of the diamond.
