First of all, are pave eternity rings practical? I'm thinking of a pave band of .85 to a carat tw of 1.5-2 pointers. It would be worn all the time with my engagement ring. Will I ever lose a diamond or two? If that happens, would it be difficult to fix? Also, how are pave bands made? Something about drilling holes etc. Thanks!

A while back, DiamonBob from White Flash explained how pave setting is done. Here's a link to that thread: http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=7149&forumID=3 Maybe some of the jewelry experts will chime in and answer durability concerns, etc.
Why use a big word when a diminutive word would be succinct! |
