I found a very good diamond (the specs are below) but it has a slight inclusion in the center according to the GIA. I was not really able to see it when looking through a loop but that could just be me. How big a deal is this really? Also any thoughts on the diamond below would be great. Thanks

depth 60.8
table 55
girdle: thin to medium faceted

That would depend on what the inclusion is? Sounds kind of like a "cloud" of pinpoint size diamond crystals, in which case it's probably no big deal... How about posting a copy of the plotting diagram or getting the vendor to provide you with a few clarity photographs.

Clouds are clusters of pinpoint crystals inside the diamond. Usually, if noted in the Comments section, clouds do not impact performance and are not eye visible. Most times, if a cloud is significant, the grader will draw it on the Cert plot.

Why use a big word when a diminutive word would be succinct!

Why am I not surprised that it took time to see one inclusion in a VS2 the first time over?

Whatever it's kind, this is tiny... really small stuff. I would have been surprised if you saw it, esp. since this is not the only thing inside the stone, so it took more such specs to give even the high enough VS2 grade.

One might imply that inclusions show more under table - well, not all the time. The plot does not indicate the depth where the inclusions is; in this case, if it was drwn on the table it says that it is closer to the table than the bottom of the stone and a guy with hundreds of hours spend loupe in hand could spot it Besides, the thing would compete with the brilliance of the stone - in this case, it lost.

Well... if you really want to see the respective inclusion once and for all, darkfield illumination would help.

Not sure why an inclusion that no one can see in normal conditions would be an issue though
