I am looking at purchasing a princess cut diamond. Here are the specs. Is this a fair price? Thanks. Certification: GIA Shape and Cutting Style: Square Modified Brilliant Measurements: 5.65x5.39x4.15 mm Weight: 1.03 carat Proportions: Depth: 77.0% Table: 78.0% Girdle: Medium to Thick Culet: None Finish: Polish: Excellent Symmetry: Good Clarity Grade: VVS2 Color Grade: H Fluorescence: None Comments: None The jeweler, a fairly reputable local one in my area, is willing to sell it for $5500. Is this a fair price given the above details? Or am I being ripped off. Thanks for any advice that you can give. Regards, DiamondMine |

I ran a search here and it seems you can get similar stone for about 1,500$ less in the internet. Stone is a little deep, maybe because of thick girdle - extra weight. It makes stone look smaller. Check Pricescope |
