How often is it okay to clean a diamond ring? |

I'm curious because some diamond cleaning solutions have amonia, maybe it might not be good to put something that strong on a stone to often. How often do most of you clean your jewelry?

Use strong ammonia and detergent mixed with boiling water no more than 5 times a day

---------------- You're not suppose to boil gold jewelery w/ammonia added to the water, right? Doesn't this cause a chemical reaction that breaks down the gold (but of course, cause no harm to the diamond(s) in the piece? Michelle

Warm water and soap every morning works well for me. Brush teeth, brush ring... brush ring again... ![]()
