How often is it okay to clean a diamond ring?

innerkitten Ideal Rock Total Posts: 2,923 Last Post: 11/23/2009 Member Since: 8/2/2003	I'm curious because some diamond cleaning solutions have amonia, maybe it might not be good to put something that strong on a stone to often. How often do most of you clean your jewelry?

Doesn't this cause a chemical reaction that breaks down the gold (but of course, cause no harm to the diamond(s) in the piece? Michelle
