Can anyone explain the difference to me? Is the Isee2 a marketing concept?

That helped tremendously! Thanks for the links!! I do know the one I looked at today was beautiful. A 1.3 SI1 H and scored a 9.7, BUT it was $11,600. Not sure it's worth that much when I can get a great H&A from GOG for almost 1/2 that.

But it sure did have some major bling going on!

Until not too long ago, Good Old Gold was also posting Isee2 scores on their stones. At some point, Isee2 decided that all their stuff should be sold the B&M way, so GOG clients should make personal inquiries about the ISee scores on the RBCs on GOG.

There is some amount of discussion in past PS posts about how Bscope and Isee2 compare as light return and cut grading tools. Isee2 turned out to be the winner, given it's claim to take into account the look of stones in indirect light (Bscope assumes direct-light conditions).

I feal that the combination of H&A and Bscope give a very acurate match with the Isee scores. From what I remember from the previous version of GOG site, the stones with top H&A and Bscope ranking also attained Isee scores above 9. Some of Jonathan's 'winners' ahd scores of 9.8 (highest possible). Perefect!

So ? one question here could be worth it's weight in diamond
