I bought mine from exclusively weddings.com. I am very picky and wanted a very elegant affair...but invitations were the least important to me. I ordered from them- they were beautiful. Heavy card stock. Lined envelopes. Loved em! .... My only beef is that the rsvp envelopes were not embossed....looked like reg ol computer print. In retrospect, they probably did that in error.

I'm using www.invitationlane.com. They have beautiful stuff, the service has been outstanding, (much much better than any store I tried around here), and their prices are very good (about 30% less than retail).

Rexcraft has an online site which was excellent. www.theknot.com has great invitation links to alot of sites as well.

I love www.finestationery.com which lets you build your mockup and see it on the screen before you buy.

We got ours from www.mypersonalartist.com because we are a Hawaii wedding and wanted something fun.

I was going to order online, but got scared. I had a friend order her invitations online and when they came they weren't what she expected. I went to Studio Invitations in Las Vegas. I don't know if you are in Vegas, but the lady who helped me was awesome!! The website is www.StudioInvitations.com Her discounts are HUGE and lots of free stuff too.

I used Novel Expressions.  You can visit them at www.novelexpressions.com or www.novelexpressions.cceasy.com
the Customer Service Reresentatives were very nice and helpful.  They also have a variety of wedding designs and ideas for invitations very unique lines that they carry. I also got my bridal shower invitations from them too you should really check them out.!!!

Drama,

Did you buy online from Novel Expressions or go to their store in MD?  I am somewhat near Bowie and was curious about what other vendors they carry because it looks great.

Thanks!

I used www.papersource.com for "save the dates".  They were cheap, quick and exactly what I expected.

I am now using www.funnybuggy.com for my invitations.  I ended up doing a custom invite (which was cheaper than some of the standard ones) and it's been a really great process.

I shoud get my samples today or tomorrow- so I'll let you know what they look like in real life.

I did both of these processes on line.  It's been fine with me - I can see the "proof" as a PDF file before they send the actual stuff.  When I recieve my sample copy I get to see/feel the paper and make final decisions.

This process would have cost me way more $$ compared to a local shop.

Good Luck!
