Hope this is okay but wanted to say a big public thanks to Robin and Todd from Nice Ice for getting me my chosen 1.154 cwt D VVS1 AGS 0 (yes I am showing off!) diamond to me here in London all the way from Oregon. Not only were they extremely fun to deal with (mad, completely mad!!!) but knowledgable, professional and when the UK customs impounded my stone - wrongly - they were on the case and resolved the issue in record time - much to my financee's pleasure (and the detriment of my wallet!)that it still got here in one piece and on time.

Thanks guys!

David

Robin and Todd are definitely a class act all the way!!

I will extend Congrats on your Engagement even tho you tease us by posting WITHOUT pics!!

Why use a big word when a diminutive word would be succinct!

I too just bought from NiceIce and can say it was completely different than what I was expecting. They were very responsive to my original emails as we went back and forth. I finally decided to drive down to their store in Oregon to see the stones they mentioned to me in the email. I looked at 5 stones and every one they showed was beautiful (they inspected all of the stones prior and said they would never show a dud). It was amazing that they also had two ring styles that they thought I would like based on my vague description. The ring settings were perfect. I finally picked a beautiful Daniel K designed ring with a radiant Fancy Intense Yellow Stone (I will post pics).

Overall I was a very happy camper. Robin and Todd are so nice and what a sense of humor!!!!!! They even set the ring and rather than have me wait and be humored to death, their staff made some nice suggestions as to things I could do in the local area (I visited the wild animal park – pretty cool).

End result is that I got a fantastic yellow diamond radiant in the setting that I love. OH and did I mention that this ring is on FIRE!!!! What fire it has. Great flashes of multiple colors!!! This ring is definitely alive. I would recommend them to anyone looking for diamonds.

Go Trojans!!!
