 		I bought my girlfriends e-ring and it was delivered on Thursday. Howver when I check my account Blue Nile has not taken the money from my account. Should I be concerned? I am thinking the money is actually gone but my bank has not updated it online.

 		Hi,

Blue Nile has your payment. . . there's no way that they'd send the ring before deducting the funds. lol There's been a few times I've ordered online and had the same thing happen and w/in a day or two my account is brought up to date.

 		Joe,

Blue Nile places a reserve or hold for the amount of the ring on your CC. However, BN does not charge it until the item is shipped. For example, you have a 10K credit limit on your card and the diamond costs 5K. If you check your available credit line, you should have 5K available credit line after the reserve is placed by the vendor.
