 THICK men's wedding band - help me find it??

We've been looking at wedding rings, and Rich finds that the typical gold bands aren't thick enough for his liking.
 
I'm at a loss where to look for thicker rings.  The average men's ring is 1.5mm thick.
 
He wants a 6, 7, or 8mm *wide* 14K gold domed band (not sure which yet), but wants it to be 3mm or so thick.
 
Any ideas on where I could find it......or who to go to if we have to have it made?

 		Yeah, I thought most jewellers will make whatever you ask for? Mine certainly can, but I'm in Australia so the referral probably won't help you.
