I want a new large stone (what woman wouldn't!) I've been looking at both ovals and rounds around a 2.5 carat. My current stone is a .80 carat round and I would love to find a way to use my current stone once I buy a new one. Would it look terrible to buy another .80 round as close as possible to my current stone and also a 2.2 oval and have a 3 stone ring with the rounds on each side and the oval in the center. I don't know who could even mount it and whether it would look terrible. (I did find a setting I like for a solitaire if you thing my idea is too much). I value your opinions!! dl |

I think it would look good, can't see why not - we are talking diamonds here! You could stick to a round big diamond in the middle, but this is common, not sure if you wanted something different. If so, I think it would look good and I'm sure your jeweller would let you play around with the setting if you hated it?? Good luck!
