I'm looking for an ering setting that has diamonds all the way around the band either channel set or pave (not sure yet ). But I want the stones to be pink.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this, or better yet, know of a site that might have this look.

Thanks!!!

are you thinking pink sapphires or pink diamonds, because I am sure that in diamonds that will be one HEFTY price tag...

I'm racking my brain, trying to remember where I saw a pic of a band of channel set pink sapphires- it really looked nice if you like pink...
Edit: actually, if you go to ebay & type in the search box "pink sapphire band", you'll get an eyeful of pink I wouldn't suggest buying, but looking certainly doesn't hurt

good question..I should have clarified earlier.

I want diamonds, but they dont have to be naturals..and in fact I would prefer they not be simply because of price.

I have read about treated/processed pinks - I'm not sure what the industry name is for these.

I spoke with some jeweler in NY, that said he has these stones but his pinks dont show up very "pink" in a platinum setting. He said that the yellows and blues show up very well, but the pinks look basically white. He said he has brown/pinks, but that some people see more brown in them.. so thats a no for me.

They are just about the same price as whites (again talking about channel or pave set stones for the setting - not center stones). I was quoted about $100 more per total 1 caret weight.

What about diamonds that were irraitiated (not sure the spelling) pink as an option?
I believe they are significantly cheaper then natural pink diamonds.

I love the idea of pink sapphires though.

Edited to add:

Oh, I just saw the post above about it. sorry

It will take allot of pink in such small stones to get the price sky high. Here's one designer making such stuff (Etienne Perret) and a provider of such stones (Josef Herskovits). Unless you wnat the pink to glow in the dark - which would mean fancy-intense, VS in diamonds or decent sapphires - this should be feasible by all means

valeria - those are great links. Now I want a pink eternity band.

The odds are good, but the goods are odd.
