What are the proportions supose to be? I mean how do you know if you have good proportions or not? Is it better for the Girdle to be thin or thick? How do you know?

Check out the DYI Cut Grading system at www.gemappraisers.com. Click DYI in the left hand toolbar, then select Oval. You'll get the cut grading charts and you can enter stats on diamonds you are considering to determine the Cut Grade.
Why use a big word when a diminutive word would be succinct! |
