HI, I JUST BOUGHT A DIAMOND SOLITARE SET IN PLAT. THE CERT IS IGI WHICH IM FINDING OUT IS NOT AS GOOD AS GIA THEREFORE I AM LEFT WONDERING IF MY DIAMOND IS WHAT IT SAYS IT IS AND IF I PAID TOO MUCH I PAID $5000 FOR: ROUND IDEAL CUT DEPTH- 60.7% TABLE- 56% CROWN- 34.9% PAVILLION DEPTH- 43% CULET- NONE GIRDLE- THIN POLISH- EXCELLENT SYMMETRY- EXCELLENT CLARITY- VS (1) COLOR- F FLUORESCENCE- NONE MEASUREMENT- 6.55-6.57 X 3.98 MM CARAT- 1.02 THE EST. RETAIL VALUE THAT IGI SHOWS IS 16,435.00? HELP!!! SHOULD I KEEP OR RETURN? Veronica Sampson |

Deal of the Century !  How come you have pavilion depth and crown angle? Is it possible to have both measurements of the same type? Converting one into another is not really precise. With all guessing involved 'cause of these measures, this stone has very little chance to be less than a great buy. IGI is not that shabby either... THANX FOR YOUR INFO BUT I MADE A BIT OF AN ERROR I DONT HAVE CR0WN AND PAVILLION ANGLES LOOKING AT LFET SIDE OR THE DIAMOND DRAWING ON THE REPORT THE CROWN HEIGHT IS 15.5% PAVILLION DEPTH IS 43% THIS IS HEARTS & ARROWS ON THE RIGHT SIDE WHERE THE GIRDLE IS IT HAS 34.9% ON TOP AND 40.7% ON BOTTOM I HOPE YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING IM NOT VERY GOOD AD EXPLAINING I AM LEARNING SO MUCH SINCE I HAVE NEVER PURCHASED A DIAMOND OR ANY JEWELRY EVEN CLOSE TO THIS PRICE  Veronica Sampson |

From the information that you posted, it sounds like a great stone at a very competitive price. Of course, this is all looking at data and not the actual stone, but it sounds lovely.
