Does anyone know of any diamond dealers who specialize in rose cut diamonds? The antique ones with the flat bottoms. If so I would appreciate their names.
Many thanks.

You might contact Dave Atlas at www.gemappraisers.com. He handles that cut from time to time and definitely knows what to look for.

Why use a big word when a diminutive word would be succinct!

Don't laugh I am not a jeweler and this WWW is just a shop selling rose cuts in parcels.

You might be able to buy them from Mike Goldstein at Michael Golstein, Inc located in 580 Fifth Ave. NYC. He is a wholesaler, but might make the occasional sale to a consumer. It isn't really a big deal sometimes.

He is a very nice guy and a friend of mine. Give him a call.
I am sure his phone number is listed in "information."
